Jean-Frédéric Neuburger performs the world premiere of his newest trio together with Julian Steckel (cello) and Nicolas Dautricourt (violin) in Evian-les-bains on July 10, 2015. Here is an introduction by the composer:

"Sur la corde raide is both a light and gloomy work. It is theatrical in nature, where extreme emotions intertwine and follow each other in rapid succession. The form of the piece is stripped of anything superfluous; there are few repeats and many active transitions. I envision it to be a “short-feature” musical project, reflecting the self-destructive pace of the contemporary world."
