François Meïmoun’s third string quartet will be premiered on November 24 at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord by the Quatuor Ardeo, with whom the composer has had a close relationship for years.

Several days later, the Quatuor Voce will premiere the composer’s Fragments d’un journal d’enfer at the Galerie de l’Apocalypse of the Château d’Angers. For this quartet with voice Meïmoun used texts by Arthur Rimbaud, Antonin Artaud and Géraldine Aïdan. He deals with the concept of hell in an astonishingly bright and joyful way.
