Following on from her receipt on 30 August of the Enriquez Città di Sirolo Prize (in the Music Theatre Section of the Classical Music Category), awarded for Il sole di chi è?, an opera for children on a text by Roberto Piumini, September sees the start of a series of performances of the Roman composer’s works: Di tumulti e d'ombre. Studio per Faust for string orchestra at the Warsaw Festival on 27 September; La rosa que no canto for string quartet and To muddy death. Ophelia for ensemble with the Solisti de LaVerdi at the Auditorium in Milan on 25 November.
On 12 December, at the Teatro Lauro Rossi in Macerata, Orfeo. Flebile queritur lyra, a melologue on a text drawn from Ovid’s Metamorphosis, will be interpreted by the Paris Mozart Orchestra under the direction of Claire Gibault and with the reciting voice of Maddalena Crippa.
The same interpreters will then take Orfeo (this time with a text in French) on tour in France. The tour will begin on 8 December and will continue throughout 2015 in the form of an educational initiative that will visit high schools in the Paris region as well as a number of concert halls in Paris itself. Finally, on 15 December the Orchestra da Camera Italiana will perform Capriccio a due for orchestra at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari.
