Five years after completing his first opera, the young composer Hèctor Parra has written his second stage work, this time a monodrama titled Te craindre en ton absence. The new work is the result of a collaboration with author Marie NDiaye, laureate of the 2009 Goncourt Prize for her novel Trois Femmes puissantes.

In the premiere performances of Te craindre en ton absence on March 4, the monologue will be performed by actress Astrid Bas and the music performed by Ensemble intercontemporain led by music director Julien Leroy. The entire stage work is directed by Georges Lavaudant.
