One of our new, young, talented composers, Blai Soler will have his first string quartet, Imaginings, premiered at the Purcell Room, SouthBank Centre by the Jubilee Quartet on January 6, 2014. Soler will have the honor of having his work on a a concert created around George Benjamin, his teacher at King’s College. Imaginings will share the program with works of Ligeti, Benjamin, Cutler, and Schumann.
