Four world premieres in Donaueschingen

This year, the Donaueschinger Musiktage feature world premieres of four composers of the Universal Music Publishing Classical group.

On 19th October, Enno Poppe's six-part Speicher project, begun in 2008, will be performed for the first time in its entirety. On the following day, Georges Aperghis' "soirée musicale" Situations will have its world premiere. In the video interview below, the composer tells us more about this work.

For the closing concert on October 20, artistic director Armin Köhler will bring together Ensemble Modern and the SWR Sinfonieorchester to perform Philippe Manoury's new work In Situ. For more information on this composition, please watch this video interview.
