The piano concerto Different Spaces is born from a singular encounter between classical pianist Nicholas Angelich and Baptiste Trotignon, a main figure in the international jazz scene. The Orchestre National de Bordeaux Aquitaine commissioned the piano concerto for the inauguration of its new auditorium in 2012. The Orchestre National de Lille, with Lawrence Foster conducting and Nicholas Angelich as soloist, will perform the new work on December 2 and 3 in Lille.
