The audience that attended the opening of the Jubilee for the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris heard the magnificent Vêpres de la Vierge by Claudio Monteverdi as they entered the building. Now, the public is invited to close this great year with a world premiere: Les Vêpres de la Vierge by Philippe Hersant. 

Commissioned by Musique Sacrée à Notre-Dame de Paris, this work is the fruit of many years of collaboration with the composer. In addition to the complete Maîtrise and the two organs of the Cathedral, the performance will include the long-time partners Les Sacqueboutiers and the soloist baritone, Alain Buet.
