The Budapest Music Center will present a portrait concert of László Tihanyi and Balázs Horváth in May.

On  May 3  a special, double portrait concert will take place in one of the most creative venues  in the music life of Budapest. The combined age of the two composers, László Tihanyi and Balázs Horváth, is exactly 100 years. The program includes two world premieres and one Hungarian premier, performed by THReNSeMBLe, conducted by the composers. Tihanyi’s Frieze (one of the world premieres), Two Imaginary Dialogues, and Horváth’s POLY – have recently been published by the EMB.
