After the critically acclaimed German premiere of Perelà, uomo di fumo at Staatstheater Mainz (director: Lydia Steier) in January, Pascal Dusapin’s seventh opera Penthesilea will have its world premiere in Brussels on March 31. The co-production of La Monnaie and Opéra national du Rhin (Strasbourg) is directed by Pierre Audi and features Franck Ollu as conductor. Also in March, the Penthesilea suite Wenn du dem Wind... will be performed in France for the first time by Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire.
