Following the success of the opera The Second Woman, which was awarded the Grand Prix de la Critique “Meilleure création musicale d’un compositeur français” (best musical production by a French composer) for the 2010/2011 season, composer Frédéric Verrières and director Guillaume Vincent decided to further pursue their collaboration with a spectacle entitled Mimi, “freely inspired” by Giacomo Puccini’s opera La bohème.
