Bechara El-Khoury takes the listener on a journey around the Mediterranean through the centuries with two world premieres, Mare Nostrum on August 4 and 7 and Pièces Picturales Brèves on August 7 performed by Emmanuel Pahud, Paul Meyer and Eric Le Sage. The Festival de l'Emperi will also offer chamber music works by Poulenc, Ravel, Rota, Xenakis, Chausson, Fauré, Debussy, Milhaud, Cavanna, Turina, Satie and more.
